Some time ago, a brother asked me, "Why don't you write a book on the gifts of the Spirit?"
Having written three other books, I knew the effort required for such a task--so I was reluctant until now! However, I believe that the time has come when the Spirit of the Lord would have me write this book. I trust that it will be a real blessing to you.
I have a real burden for the Church, the Body of Christ, and believe that each member of this Body has a ministry and a complementary gift. Like Paul of old"...I long to see you that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift...." (Romans 1:11) Also, Paul adds in I Corinthians 1:7:"...so that ye come behind in no gift, waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ...."
For over 40 years I have read innumerable books on this subject, attended all kinds of services, learned many good things, and I have seen these gifts in operation. Therefore, this I know: God is ready to give the nine wonderful gifts of the Spirit to anyone who has a pure heart, so I have put together what I think is a well-balanced document on the gifts and how they operate.
