4. THE GLORY WAVE BRINGS UNITY



I feel I must write an additional paragraph or two concerning the unity of God's people. Without unity it is impossible to function properly in the Church. A house divided against itself cannot stand. In Jesus' high priestly prayer (John 17:21), He emphasized the need for unity and oneness in the Body of Christ. In verse 22, He gave the answer to the need, "And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.

We may have conventions, rallies and meetings, they are commendable, but without the glory they alone will not produce unity. Unity is needed in the "five-fold" ascension ministries, so that they in turn may perfect the saints in unity, that all of us may become workers together with God.
